In the county of Stafford
Survived by Frances his wife, the daughter of William Noel, Knight
Of Kirkby Mallory in Leicestershire
And his three children
RALPH     EDWARD     HONORIA.
He died the 4th April * in the Year of Christ 1695.
He lived 25 years 3 months and 13 days. **
He is greatly missed by his parents, relatives, wife
and good men.
And he was buried attended by a great crowd of mourners.
His most devoted wife dolefully
Had this monument erected at her own expense for her well-deserving husband.
